Awni K. Kaloti studied civil engineering at Miami Dade College before serving as a store manager at Gray Drug Store in Miami for several years. In 1984, Awni Kaloti founded Kaloti International Corp, where he serves as owner and director to this day.

Kaloti International Corp is a meat and food supplier that prioritizes customer service and proven management principles. The company serves clients such as grocery stores, meat markets, and cruise lines, and also offers a range of specialty meats that include rabbit, venison, and quail.

A short-tailed game bird, quail are made up of 130 species of birds that fall into the Phasianidae and Odontophoridae families. Some of the more common quail varieties include the coturnix and the bobwhite. Although roughly the same size as the coturnix, the bobwhite are known for a distinctive call that sounds similar to “bob-white” in addition to distinctive dark markings around their eyes. Since they can fly, bobwhite quail are also commonly used for sport and for training hunting dogs.
